			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>On May 15, Ammori participated in GMU&#8217;s Law and Economic Center&#8217;s Third Annual Conference on Competition Policy in Search and Social Media. <span id="more-708"></span> <img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-709" title="lec-logo" src="http://ammorigroup.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/lec-logo.gif" alt="" width="182" height="180" />Ammori spoke on a panel addressing the intersection of copyright and antitrust. Also on the panel were FTC Attorney Barbara Blank, University of Pennsylvania Professor Eric Clemons, and Vice President of Legal Affairs at Public Knowledge Sherwin Siy. George Mason Law Professor Adam Mossoff moderated the discussion. Ammori&#8217;s remarks analyzed the outcome of the FTC&#8217;s antitrust investigation of Google and explained why Google&#8217;s alleged &#8220;scraping&#8221; is actually permissible under copyright law, and don&#8217;t form the basis of an antitrust claim.</p>
