The past few years, the Federal Trade Commission has taken a leadership role on digital privacy. The Bureau of Consumer Protection, led by David Vladeck, has entered into consent decrees with Twitter, Google, and Facebook regarding security and privacy. As the FTC does not adopt rules regarding privacy, innovators often need expert guidance on evolving privacy enforcement practices and policies. We advise large and small companies on privacy, including advising CEOs and general counsels on these matters. We also brief entrepreneurs on privacy issues, having spoken at NYC Mobile Meetup at AOL Ventures and TechStars San Antonio regarding privacy practices and the need to take consumer privacy into account in designing leading products. Ammori has also published in the New York Times on privacy issues.
